Dr. Veena Thomas is a scientist and strategist who fuses forensic strategic influence with MIT-trained technical precision. Her path began as an Honors Intern at the FBI Academy in Quantico, where she worked with the Forensic Science Research Unit under top-secret clearance. From that experience, she learned how evidence, persuasion, and stakes intersect at the highest levels. She carried that lesson into her scientific career as an MIT undergrad, UCSF Ph.D., and Stanford postdoc, earning recognition for her strategic prowess with awards including the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, NIH NRSA postdoctoral grant, and UCSF School of Pharmacy Teaching Assistant of the Year.
